What you will do

• Apply state-of-the-art ML and LLM techniques for personalization, query understanding, and content discovery.
• Design experiments and metrics for rigorous offline and online model evaluation.
• Own the entire model lifecycle from research to production including data analysis, modeling, and A/B testing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, PMs, data scientists, and designers to improve AI-driven products.
• Incorporate emerging ML/AI research and algorithms into product development.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Francisco, New York City, or Palo Alto
• 5+ years experience building and shipping robust ML/AI models for large-scale user-facing products.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX), LLMs, NLP, recommendation systems, and ranking.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python and collaborative development.
• Experience with full ML lifecycle: data analysis, feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and monitoring.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM prompt engineering and Retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
• Experience in large-scale user-centric and content-centric personalization challenges.
• Open-source or published contributions in ML, NLP, IR, or relevant research fields.
