What you will do
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native data solutions, driving modernization and best practices.
- Architect, design, and implement fault-tolerant data pipelines using workflow orchestration, data modeling, and cloud services.
- Modernize legacy workflows into automated, event-driven cloud-native pipelines.
- Define and enforce best practices for workflow architecture, dependency management, observability, and performance optimization.
- Lead cross-team technical initiatives and mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture reviews, and design sessions.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to shape platform strategy and roadmap.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Python and cloud-native services.
- Deep expertise in workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow), data modeling frameworks (e.g., dbt), and distributed data systems.
- Advanced proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services) and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
- Strong leadership in technical decision-making, mentoring, and establishing engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
