What you will do

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native data solutions, driving modernization and best practices.
• Architect, design, and implement fault-tolerant data pipelines using workflow orchestration, data modeling, and cloud services.
• Modernize legacy workflows into automated, event-driven cloud-native pipelines.
• Define and enforce best practices for workflow architecture, dependency management, observability, and performance optimization.
• Lead cross-team technical initiatives and mentor engineers through code reviews, architecture reviews, and design sessions.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to shape platform strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

• Extensive experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Python and cloud-native services.
• Deep expertise in workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow), data modeling frameworks (e.g., dbt), and distributed data systems.
• Advanced proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., Amazon Web Services) and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Strong leadership in technical decision-making, mentoring, and establishing engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
