What you will do

• Design and implement features for distributed storage systems using data-driven and test-driven approaches.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and mentor peers while applying best practices and AI tools.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies including automation and security validation.
• Lead architectural design discussions ensuring compliance, scalability, and performance.
• Drive engineering excellence by improving developer tools and automating deployment.
• Maintain live site operations and lead incident response with telemetry integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and advocate for privacy and security.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or willing to work onsite in Suzhou, China.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years engineering experience; 5+ years professional C++ development experience.
• Strong skills in building distributed platforms and solving complex system-level challenges.
• Experience with storage data structures such as RocksDB or LevelDB.
• Proven ability to design and validate distributed solutions using quantitative methods and telemetry.
• English: Proficient (B2) required.
