What you will do

• Implement and optimize wake word recognition and real-time processing of audio/visual data at the firmware level for responsive on-device AI.
• Develop and maintain firmware support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules for seamless device connectivity.
• Implement high-performance solutions across teams and maintain quality checklists.
• Monitor telemetry data, perform basic analyses, and respond to incidents by troubleshooting and deploying fixes.
• Develop an understanding of prescriptive guidance for security, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Share information across disciplines, manage dependencies, and participate in design reviews to improve system development and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience OR Master’s Degree with 4+ years OR Doctorate with 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience developing embedded firmware on SoCs from Realtek, BES, Qualcomm, or similar platforms, with deep understanding of low-power and real-time constraints.
• Proven experience in firmware development for wearable devices such as smart glasses or TWS earbuds, including audio, sensor, and connectivity modules.
