What you will do

• Design and develop HW, SW, and SYS-level enablement and solutions based on NXP Automotive MCU, including reference designs, EVBs, and software implementations.
• Participate in NPI process providing technical assurance.
• Support front-line teams by resolving complex technical challenges and coordinating cross-functional resources.
• Collaborate with key automotive OEM accounts on POC projects and platform-level solutions.

Requirements

• English as a working language with excellent cross-team and cross-regional collaboration skills.
• 1-3 years R&D experience in automotive electronics, industrial control, or embedded system design.
• Deep understanding of microprocessor architectures (multi-core, system bus, peripherals, accelerators, Cache, DMA).
• Embedded software development skills in automotive domain: RTOS, AUTOSAR (CP), peripheral drivers, advanced debugging.
• Solid knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Automotive Cybersecurity.
• Experience or knowledge of ECU lifecycles (SYS, SW, HW, quality management).
• Ability to multitask under pressure, work independently, and travel domestically/internationally.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Automotive Ethernet (Switches, TSN).
• Familiarity with advanced E/E Architectures and Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV/SDA).
• Experience applying generative AI in engineering challenges.
• R&D at automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
• Hands-on in Motor Control development.
• EMC/EMI design, testing, troubleshooting.
• Awareness of automotive standards and trends.
