What you will do

  • Lead the development of SLAM algorithms for large-scale environments using LiDAR, Vision, Odometry, and IMU.
  • Develop robust solutions for filtering dynamic obstacles and maintaining localization in tunnels and urban canyons.
  • Optimize SLAM algorithms for edge platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson Orin and Horizon J5 for real-time output.
  • Design and implement automated toolchains for map generation, updates, and cloud management.
  • Collaborate with Perception and Planning teams to provide low-latency pose estimation and semantic map data.
  • Build performance evaluation frameworks using ATE and Loop Closure success rates.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or above in CS, Robotics, Automation, Geomatics, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of SLAM R&D experience in robotics or autonomous driving with full-cycle product experience.
  • Expert proficiency in high-performance C++, Linux, and ROS 2.
  • Mastery of LiDAR SLAM (LOAM, LIO-SAM) or Visual/Multi-sensor SLAM (VINS, ORB-SLAM3).
  • Practical experience in SLAM acceleration using CUDA or TensorRT.
  • Must be based in or work onsite at hirify.global offices in Singapore or China.
