TL;DR

Senior Product Marketing Manager (AI, Advertising): Leading customer listening, go-to-market strategy, and product adoption for monetization platforms with an accent on defining differentiated value propositions and driving business impact. Focus on translating market insights into actionable product recommendations, orchestrating cross-functional go-to-market execution, and influencing product direction in the evolving AI advertising landscape.

Location: Expected to work from a Microsoft office in the U.S. at least four days per week if living within a 50-mile commute.

Salary: $106,400–$203,600 USD per year.

What you will do

  • Lead customer listening and market intelligence efforts to uncover growth opportunities and shape the product roadmap.
  • Define and evolve differentiated product positioning and value propositions that resonate with customer needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, driving product adoption and business impact.
  • Ensure internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Learning & Development) are equipped with knowledge and tools to effectively communicate product offerings.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and inclusive thinking, proactively seeking feedback to reduce bias in AI-driven products.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or similar roles, leading cross-organizational teams and working with Engineering partners.
  • 3+ years of experience in applying different customer listening approaches to inform and influence product development.
  • 3+ years of experience in product positioning and value proposition, with experience in leading differentiated value propositions.
  • Committed understanding of the digital advertising landscape—across agency, publisher, or brand perspectives, with experience in publisher platforms and monetization strategies.

Nice to have

  • Master’s Degree with 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years experience.
  • Familiarity with alternative monetization models such as subscriptions.
  • Exposure to generative AI products and understanding of AI agents in marketing and advertising scenarios.
