What you will do

• Develop and execute LLM platform strategy for Copilot to extend language model capabilities.
• Prototype approaches to steer language models for high-quality responses across scenarios.
• Identify and prioritize issues impacting quality, factuality, and safety; collaborate with engineers and researchers to resolve them.
• Define and build measurable evaluations and manage production experiments to improve relevance and engagement.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to scale tool building and resolve dependencies.
• Own project status, proactively identify risks, and propose solutions for timely delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years product management experience or equivalent.
• 3+ years leading ambiguous product areas and multi-disciplinary teams.
• 2+ years building ML-powered or LLM-powered products with hands-on LLM API experience.
• Experience with prompt design, context window management, and model evaluation.
• Must be able to work onsite in Redmond, United States with office attendance expectations.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with engineers, data scientists, and researchers.

Nice to have

• Experience building retrieval or recommendation systems with data-driven experimentation.
• Familiarity with agent and orchestration frameworks for LLM applications.
• Technical depth in software development, data science, and machine learning.
• Experience in prompt engineering and tuning of large language models.
