Product Enablement Specialist (Fintech): Supporting the strategy, adoption, and modernization of foundational services like API Management, Gateways, and Extranet platforms with an accent on translating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders and ensuring compliance. Focus on defining modernization roadmaps, guiding product teams through onboarding, and tracking platform adoption metrics.

Location: Toronto, Canada. This is a hybrid role. Eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 USD.

What you will do

• Partner with Platform Engineering, Architecture, and Product Leads to define and execute modernization roadmaps across API Management, Gateways, and Extranet services.
• Support migration planning and adoption efforts for product teams moving onto new API gateways.
• Clarify requirements, write user stories, and maintain a prioritized work backlog aligned to platform strategy.
• Serve as the platform enablement contact for product lines, guiding them through onboarding, integration patterns, security expectations, and SLAs.
• Work with security and CIAM teams to ensure compliance with OAuth/OIDC, mTLS, cert rotation, token exchange flows, and API governance.
• Track and report platform adoption metrics, performance insights, usage patterns, and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role or related field, including technical product management, platform product ownership, or development experience.
• Strong ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, structured communication for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with API Gateways (e.g., Kong, Axway, Apigee, AWS API Gateway) and API Management concepts (throttling, onboarding, client registration, traffic inspection, logging, and monitoring).
• Experience writing or reviewing user stories, backlog items, service requirements, and platform release notes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, especially across Product, Architecture, Security, Engineering, and vendor teams.
• Eligibility to work for hirify.global Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Extranet / customer-facing portal services.
