Product Manager

TL;DR

Product Manager: Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities with an accent on market research and driving solutions across development teams. Focus on daily interaction with software developers and testers, product collateral production, and sales/technical support training.

Location: Onsite in Mississauga, Canada. This position requires some travel and tradeshow attendance (must maintain a valid passport at all times).

What you will do

• Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• Specify market requirements for current and future products through market research and customer interactions.
• Drive solution sets across development teams by authoring requirements and user stories.
• Work with Marketing to produce product collateral and sales tools.
• Train Sales Support and Technical Support in product use and operations.
• Attend Industry Conferences and Trade Shows and make presentations as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner in an Enterprise Software company.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
• Demonstrated understanding of software development and product life cycle.
• Excellent writing, communications, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively conduct formal and informal training sessions or presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and partner effectively within and outside your immediate team.
• Experience in agile software development methodology.

Nice to have

• MBA + Computer Science or Engineering degree.
• Solid understanding of the latest software technologies, trends and strategies.
• Industry certifications.
• Windows platform experience.
