Senior Business Consultant (Air Transport): Working closely with account teams and clients to drive consultative-led business development and provide focused consultancy offers to customers, with an accent on understanding strategic plans, business goals, and developing transformation plans. Focus on building business cases, conducting discovery assessments, and providing key findings and recommendations to optimize customer businesses.

Location: Hybrid in Madrid, Spain or Reading, United Kingdom. Work from home up to 2 days/week. Flex-Location allows working from any location in the world for up to 30 days a year.

What you will do

• Work with customers across all management levels of airports to understand strategic plans, analyze current processes, and develop transformation plans.
• Develop high-quality deliverables, including Airport IT Master Plans and Digital Transformation Strategies, sought after by customers.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, demonstrating domain expertise and providing valuable insights.
• Provide high-level functional specifications and guide customers in achieving business and operational success.
• Develop business cases, including cost-benefit and risk-reward analysis, and provide recommendations to optimize customer businesses.
• Contribute to regional and global partnerships, developing repeatable process frameworks for profitable services.

Requirements

• Broad knowledge of the air transport industry (Airport Ops, Passenger Processing, IT infrastructure, financial operations).
• 5+ years of experience working with airports, airlines, and ground handlers.
• Business or IT-related degree.
• Deep Project and Program Management experience in the Air Transport Industry.
• Skilled leader with experience in team management, matrix organizations, and stakeholder influence at all levels.
• Proficiency in consulting processes and methodologies, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Consulting qualifications.
• Data Management / Data science qualification or experience.
• A degree in Air Transportation.
• AMPAP accreditation.
