FP&A Analyst, Commercial

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Toronto, Canada (working in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays).

What you will do

• Provide proactive insights for the CRO and sales leadership teams, developing financial models to guide global growth decisions.
• Report monthly financial and non-financial sales performance to executive and leadership teams, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Be responsible for quarterly sales forecasting (Ad Spend and Net Revenue), presenting recommendations, and articulating accompanying risks and opportunities.
• Drive incremental growth by providing sales teams with analysis, insights, and business cases for top and strategic buyers.
• Support financial forecasting and budgeting, and hold responsibility for reporting and variance analysis on performance against targets.
• Collaborate with global team members and participate in projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Accounting with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to conduct research, interpret data, and translate data into clear insights for business stakeholders.
• Comfort with ambiguity, a self-starter with an aptitude for defining and directing new processes.
• Project management experience with confidence to drive progress and accountability.

Nice to have

• Experience working within the digital advertising and/or accounting industry.
• Experience in handling large data.
