What you will do
- Support the sales team across all technical aspects of the sales process.
- Conduct presentations, demos, proof-of-value exercises, and technical workshops.
- Manage technical aspects of client accounts and ensure successful project execution.
- Act as a technical conduit, gathering client requirements and relaying them to Product Management & Engineering.
- Collaborate closely with Field & Inside Sales, Partners, Product Management, and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- English: Fluent required.
- Relational database experience (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Sybase, or DB2) including active use or administration.
- Customer-facing experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, consulting, or support.
- Mandatory experience with High Availability, Scalability, Performance trade-offs, and Security concepts.
- Mandatory cloud experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, VMWare Cloud, or OpenStack/Virtualisation.
Nice to have
- Ability to conduct product proof-of-value from initial requirements gathering to successful objective achievement.
- Experience with Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, Microservices, or PaaS (OpenShift, CloudFoundry).
- Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, Node.js, Ruby, C/C++ using database connectors.
