What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a team of up to 9 Java developers and an integration team.
• Refactor and modernize legacy Java applications from WebSphere Portal to a modern environment.
• Develop and extend applications with additional REST services.
• Ensure solid integration between backend applications and frontend layers.
• Replicate cloud architecture on-premises in a private cloud environment.
• Collaborate with multiple squads to deliver on time.

Requirements

• Location: Must work onsite 3 days per week in Bucharest (Piata Natiunilor Unite, Piata Chibrit, or hirify.global Bridge)
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong experience with Java/JEE technologies and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSF.
• Hands-on experience with cloud integration and containerization tools (e.g., App Connect Enterprise, API Connect, Kafka, APIGEE).
• Understanding of private cloud architectures and integration solutions.
• English proficiency at least B2 level required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ruby, Python, Groovy.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools.
