What you will do

• Take ownership of core backend services and APIs
• Scale the platform to handle growing customer usage
• Build and maintain ATS integrations and assessment workflows
• Improve performance, reliability, testing, and code quality
• Mentor and set an example for less experienced teammates
• Collaborate directly with founders, product, and frontend engineers

Requirements

• Based in the Netherlands with a valid EU work permit
• 5+ years backend experience in Python, Go, Elixir, or Rust
• Strong track record building scalable systems and APIs
• Start-up mentality with high energy and learning mindset
• Fluent in English (implied by job language)

• Experience with ATS/HR-tech
