What you will do

• Take ownership of features end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, testing, and observability.
• Design scalable patterns for multi-tenant environments, performance, and internationalisation.
• Actively apply AI at the core of daily work, such as test scaffolding, log analysis, and proposing refactorings.
• Contribute to the internal AI Engineering Playbook.
• Coach colleagues in both Laravel and AI-assisted development.
• Improve and safeguard quality standards through code reviews, documentation, and strong test coverage.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer.
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience with Laravel.
• Mastery of SOLID principles, clean code, and substantial experience in TDD environments.
• Strong background in databases, especially extensive experience with MySQL.
• Experience in more complex, mission-critical environments.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Proactive, experimental mindset towards AI-assisted engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS.
• Knowledge of Livewire / Filament.
• Experience with AWS Vapor, Terraform, and Docker.
• Experience with Playwright, E2E testing, and Meilisearch.
• Domain knowledge of regulated industries.
• Experience migrating large data environments.
