Product Design Manager (Legaltech): Lead the international product design team to develop AI-driven, localized legal SaaS tools and workflows for global markets. Location: Remote across the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) with hybrid work expected in hubs Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto (minimum two days per week).

Salary: 150,000–225,000 CAD

What you will do

• Define and drive experience strategy for internationalization and localization of legal SaaS products.
• Leverage regional research and market insights to tailor products to diverse legal systems and customer needs.
• Manage and mentor a team of product designers fostering autonomy, collaboration, and growth.
• Embed user-centered design and data-informed practices into product development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
• Plan resources and hire talent to meet delivery goals and strategic impact.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec) with hybrid presence in specified hubs.
• 7+ years of product design experience in SaaS or complex platforms.
• 5+ years managing product design teams with proven leadership and coaching skills.
• Experience designing scalable, internationalized products supporting multiple languages, currencies, and regulations.
• Strong expertise in user research, interaction design, systems thinking, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Growth mindset with familiarity in AI-assisted workflows and fast-paced product development.

• Experience in enterprise or regulated industries such as legal, healthcare, or finance.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, automation, or personalization in product design.
• Experience contributing to platform-level systems in multi-product environments.
