Senior Product Designer (AI)

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer: Leading end-to-end product design for key platform areas, from problem discovery to polished UI, with an accent on solving complex problems through data and evidence-based design. Location: Remote - Portugal. Working hours will be from 12pm-9pm GMT.

What you will do

• Lead the full design lifecycle: discovery, research, concepting, prototyping, usability testing, UI/visual design, and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define problem spaces and shape product strategy.
• Contribute to hirify.global’s design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product suite.
• Gather and use quantitative and qualitative insights to drive product strategy and design improvements.
• Conduct User Research activities, such as user interviews, usability tests, and concept validations.
• Design and support experiments to measure how design decisions influence user behaviour and business results.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Product Design experience in SaaS, B2B, or data-rich products.
• Proven ability to drive data-informed product decisions to drive business results.
• End-to-end ownership, from problem framing to final UI.
• Deep experience with Figma (including components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping).
• Experience contributing to design systems.
• Experience with data visualisation or information-heavy interfaces.
• English: B2 required.
• Work from Portugal required.
• Working hours: 12pm-9pm GMT.

Nice to have

• Experience in revenue management, pricing tools, marketplaces, or analytics platforms.
• Enthusiasm about AI tools and integrating them into your workflow.
• Experience with Product analytics tools like Hotjar and Posthog.
• Familiarity with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, measuring UX impact).
• Front-end working knowledge (React, component architecture).
