Senior Product Designer (Figma)

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (Figma): Pair closely with engineering and product to initiate and complete roadmap projects, spotting opportunities to redesign key screens and flows with an accent on creating mockups, prototypes, high-fidelity visuals, and improving design system components. Focus on guiding fellow designers through collaborative critique, engaging in technical discussions, and hiring new teammates.

Location: Remote-first, open to candidates based in North America and Europe. Occasional team off-sites, optional co-working, and travel.

What you will do

• Pair closely with engineering and product to initiate and complete roadmap projects without hand-offs
• Spot opportunities to redesign or refine key screens, flows, and smaller quality issues while using hirify.global
• Create mockups, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals to communicate ideas and execution
• Guide and inspire fellow designers through collaborative critique of work-in-progress
• Use and improve lightweight design system components
• Help with hiring new teammates to elevate the team and product

Requirements

• 7+ years experience designing software
• Courage to ask questions, experiment, and advocate for what you feel is right
• Humility to accept feedback, adapt thinking, and iterate toward best solutions
• Experience with prototyping in Figma and tools like AI, HTML/CSS, Origami
• Ability to distill problems and feedback into clear, focused solutions
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for async work
