Salary: $142,000 – $206,000

What you will do

• Act as the primary SOX liaison for the Technology organization, optimizing ITGCs, access controls, and change management.
• Operationalize the AI SOX Governance Framework, including risk classification and control standards for AI/ML systems.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls across technology, AI, and data environments.
• Lead ITGC and automated control walkthroughs with external auditors and co-source teams.
• Manage the deficiency evaluation process, including root cause analysis and remediation monitoring.
• Prepare SOX materials for senior leadership, the Audit & Risk Committee, and the Disclosure Committee.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting, risk consulting, or SOX industry roles, emphasizing IT risk.
• Must be able to work out of the San Diego, Mountain View, or Atlanta office at least 3 times a week.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Deep expertise in ITGCs, automated controls, PCAOB standards, and the COSO framework.
• Experience designing or governing AI/ML controls frameworks or model risk management programs.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functionally across technical and engineering audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience in Fintech or the software industry.
• Certifications such as CISA, CIA, CISSP, CPA, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
• Hands-on experience with GRC platforms (e.g., AuditBoard) and data tools (e.g., Tableau, Smartsheet).
