TL;DR
Data Analyst (eCommerce): Conducts comprehensive dataset analyses and builds data pipelines to extract insights, trends, and patterns for a connected commerce platform with an accent on mathematical, statistical, and probability methodologies. Focus on automating reports and visualizations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address product challenges.
Location: This is a hybrid role (4 days/week in office) and is based out of our Seattle, WA office.
Salary: $85,000–$105,000 per year

What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive dataset analyses across hirify.global to extract insights, trends, and patterns.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and workflows to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Provide timely and precise responses to inquiries regarding datasets and models.
- Apply technical expertise to process complex datasets and derive actionable insights through analytics.
- Develop scalable processes for automating reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and address specific product questions or challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or other relevant technical field.
- 2+ years of direct industry work experience in one or more of the following areas: data science, data analytics, or data engineering.
- 2+ years of experience with statistics and probability, particularly their application in systems analysis and operations research.
- Demonstrated experience with Python and SQL.
Nice to have
- Prior experience using advanced statistical tools such as SciPy or sklearn.
- Prior experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Experience working in a startup, retail, digital advertising, or e-commerce environment.
