What you will do

• Lead problem discovery and product scoping for government customers, often on-site
• Deploy AI models/products in customer environments and integrate software with hirify.global's cloud
• Identify pain points and build LLM-powered software for government use cases
• Optimize model performance through prompt tuning and fine-tuning with subject matter experts
• Analyze logs and outputs to ensure system reliability and effectiveness
• Collaborate with engineers, AI researchers, and mission managers to align solutions with customer challenges

Requirements

• Must have government partnership experience with DoD, federal contractors, or agencies
• Active or eligible U.S. security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, SCI)
• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science
• Experience in software engineering or machine learning
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, SQL, and TypeScript
• Ability to design and maintain secure, scalable AI solutions compliant with government standards

Nice to have

• Experience working with National Security customers or as an end-user of AI/software systems
• Skill in creating user manuals or onboarding materials for non-technical audiences
• Experience handling large datasets and optimizing performance for critical workloads
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Pulumi or Terraform in secure environments
