What you will do

• Build and lead a high-performing technical team in China.
• Support the Alibaba Cloud & hirify.global partnership with technical expertise.
• Lead enterprise customer POCs from architecture design to production deployment.
• Design PB-scale real-time data warehouse architectures.
• Collaborate with global Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Represent hirify.global at technical conferences and community events in China.

Requirements

• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Deep database expertise and strong architecture design capabilities.
• 8+ years in database/data warehouse/big data technologies.
• Team leadership experience managing technical teams of 10+ engineers.
• Cloud-native proficiency with hands-on knowledge of major cloud service providers.

Nice to have

• Experience with columnar databases and real-time analytics systems.
• Kubernetes expertise.
• Data engineering skills in ETL pipelines and streaming platforms.
