What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend microservices deployed on AWS Lambda and other AWS services.
• Collaborate with small autonomous teams including frontend, backend, fullstack, and QA engineers.
• Work on serverless infrastructure and architecture to build scalable solutions.
• Contribute to frontend development using React and TypeScript if desired.
• Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs for internal and external use.
• Participate in automation efforts including integration and UI testing using Python and Playwright.

Requirements

• Location: Must be legally able to work in Brno, Czech Republic.
• Passion for programming and designing backend services.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and improve efficiency.
• Enjoy collaborative discussions and open communication within teams.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, Glue, StepFunctions, Athena, and Timestream.
• Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices orchestration.
• Familiarity with automation testing frameworks like Behave and Playwright.
