What you will do

• Collaborate on designing scalable and robust backend services following best practices
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and team collaboration including code reviews and sprint planning
• Write and maintain high-quality, tested code for the hirify.global PIM platform
• Work closely with frontend engineers, QA, and product teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
• Review and approve code from other engineers and mentor junior developers

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of professional web software development experience
• Strong Python backend development skills (Django, Flask, or similar)
• Experience with Python 3+ features including async and concurrency
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or willingness to work fullstack
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments
• English language proficiency at least B2 (job posting language)

Nice to have

• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ
• Understanding of cloud-native distributed systems and microservices
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of micro frontends or web components
