TL;DR

It Support Specialist (System Engineering): Provide day-to-day technical support onsite and remotely, managing help desk operations, infrastructure maintenance, and onboarding coordination with an accent on Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and ServiceNow environments. Focus on diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring SLA compliance, and maintaining high user satisfaction.

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, USA (hybrid)

Salary: $30 to $38 per hour

What you will do

  • Respond promptly to service tickets and provide professional support using ServiceNow and other tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding and manage equipment lifecycle and asset inventory.
  • Monitor system performance, apply OS patches, and provide Level 1 support for local servers, networks, and printers.
  • Monitor help desk metrics to ensure SLA compliance and maintain knowledge base documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and business managers to standardize procedures and improve support delivery.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be able to work onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk environment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems and Microsoft Windows 11, Office 365, Intune device management.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and customer orientation.
  • On-call availability as scheduled by IT Help Desk Manager.
