What you will do

• Build and maintain synthetic data generation pipelines using neural rendering, diffusion models, and procedural assets.
• Apply transfer learning and domain adaptation to bridge gaps between synthetic and real data.
• Integrate and fine-tune models to meet hardware constraints on latency, memory, and quality.
• Develop end-to-end systems from data capture to deployment including calibration, rendering, and evaluation.
• Define and iterate on dataset and model evaluation frameworks based on quantitative metrics.
• Research and prototype new approaches in graphics, vision, and generative ML to advance synthetic data quality.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work in San Francisco, United States
• Experience with 3D reconstruction, photorealistic rendering, or synthetic data generation for vision.
• Ability to work in high-ambiguity, open-ended problem spaces.
• Familiarity with large-scale multi-camera datasets and data curation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer graphics, vision, imaging, machine learning, or related field.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Ph.D. in relevant discipline.
• Experience with neural rendering models like NeRF and modern generative models such as diffusion.
• Proficiency in PyTorch, JAX, or other modern ML frameworks.
