TL;DR
Senior Business Development Manager (Trading and Financials): Driving significant revenue growth through new business acquisition within the trading and financial customer verticals with an accent on leading complex sales initiatives and strategic territory planning. Focus on proactive inbound/outbound lead generation, owning the entire sales process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape product development based on customer feedback.
Location: Hybrid role based in Dubai, UAE, with an expectation to be physically present in the office at least 2 days per week. Willingness to travel across the region as required.

What you will do
- Meet or exceed new business sales targets by proactive inbound and outbound new business development from origination to close.
- Target, prospect, identify, evaluate, and prioritize new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Lead Management and Sales Development teams to maximize win rates and develop own opportunities.
- Develop and regularly maintain a sales plan for your territory to support growth ambitions.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing.
- Work closely with Product and Research teams to help shape the product development roadmap based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in business development, including managing complex deals and influencing strategic direction.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing your own pipeline.
- Relevant knowledge of energy/commodity markets and/or market data and analytics industry.
- Relevant experience selling to traders/financials within the UAE and Middle East.
- Deep understanding of Data, Analytics, and Research enterprise sales processes.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
- Advanced negotiation and rapport-building skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Bachelor's degree required.
