What you will do

• Scope, design, develop, and support cost-effective automated manufacturing systems including robotics, industrial controls, and machine vision.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and throughput.
• Assist with specification and purchase of automation capital equipment balancing technology and ROI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external integrators for project execution.
• Troubleshoot and repair automation software and hardware issues.
• Support ongoing manufacturing improvement activities involving automation components.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Buffalo, NY, USA
• Bachelor's degree in Automation, Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering.
• 5-10 years experience in industrial automation and control systems, preferably manufacturing or aerospace.
• Hands-on experience with industrial controls, robotics programming, PLC, SCADA, CNC, and CAD software (Siemens NX preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex control systems.
• Effective communication and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ignition, Fanuc, and Rockwell Automation systems.
• Lean manufacturing and aerospace industry experience.
