Sr. Engineering Specialist (Embedded)

What you will do

• Lead the design of advanced control systems and the integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Develop software and algorithms to enhance electro-mechanical systems and mechatronic devices.
• Define technical requirements for automation components, including perception and planning systems.
• Mentor engineers in the design, validation, and troubleshooting of embedded software and electrical systems.
• Evaluate internal and supplier-developed systems to ensure they meet customer needs.
• Monitor the regulatory environment for mobile equipment automation and validation methods.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Extensive experience in automation, onboard software, control systems, and electrical system development.
• Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies and their application in industry.
• Strong expertise in software product design, architecture, and embedded systems.
• Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Must be able to travel 10-25%.
