TL;DR

Head Of Employee Relations (HR Business Partner): Lead and scale a global employee relations function focusing on strategy, coaching, and evolving frameworks with an accent on AI-enabled tools, data-driven decision making, and ethical employee advocacy. Focus on managing complex employee relations issues, developing scalable solutions, and partnering with leadership to drive cultural maturity and compliance.

Location: New York City office with hybrid schedule (Mon, Tue, Thu in-office; Wed remote; Fri conditional remote)

Salary: $246,000 - $290,000

What you will do

  • Scale and evolve a global, values-aligned employee relations program with workflows, playbooks, and collaboration models.
  • Lead high-sensitivity investigations and complex employee relations issues with fairness and discretion.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and data analytics to proactively identify workplace risks and opportunities.
  • Co-design and deliver ER training to build manager and team capabilities.
  • Coach leaders and influence organizational culture and ethical clarity.
  • Review and evolve ER policies to ensure compliance with employee law requirements.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in or able to work from New York City office with hybrid schedule
  • 10+ years experience in employee relations or HR business partnering in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven people management and leadership skills.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to handle complex, sensitive issues.
  • Experience with data-driven program development and AI tools in HR.
  • Ability to influence at multiple organizational levels and drive strategic initiatives.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI and automation tools in employee relations.
  • Background in legal collaboration and learning & development partnerships.
