Software Engineer, Agentic Runtime (AI): Building and operating core runtime services for hirify.global’s AI agents and assistant experiences at scale with an accent on low-latency, reliability, and security. Focus on designing for performance, integrating with leading LLM providers, and ensuring high availability.

Location: Hybrid (3-4 days a week in one of our SF Bay Area offices)

Salary: $170,000 - $265,000 annually

What you will do

• Own impactful runtime problems end-to-end from architecture to production launch.
• Build and evolve core services for session lifecycle and streaming responses.
• Design for performance, correctness, and cost optimization.
• Integrate with leading LLM providers to improve quality and predictability.
• Harden the platform with fault isolation and graceful degradation.
• Collaborate with product, quality, and application teams on roadmap investments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems or cloud-native applications.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Experience operating services on Kubernetes and major cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with event/streaming systems and caching.
• Strong observability and debugging skills.
• Background in policy/guardrails or cost optimization is a plus.
