Guidewire Engineer

Location: Sweden (Bergshamra/Stockholm); Swedish citizenship or a permanent residence permit required. Hybrid workplace available.

What you will do

• Implement and evolve the new cloud-based Guidewire InsuranceSuite core insurance system.
• Design, develop, and deploy robust solutions using modern engineering and agile practices.
• Work across different parts of the system and discuss technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Apply automated processes and quality-by-design principles throughout development.
• Collaborate on solutions supporting the changing mobility insurance landscape.

Requirements

• Software engineering degree.
• Specialist or Ace certification as a Guidewire Developer in Policy Center or Billing Center.
• Specialist or Ace certification in Guidewire InsuranceSuite Integration.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud implementation projects.
• Java development experience with proficiency in JSON and REST.
• Experience with test automation, Agile methodologies, SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Excellent English communication skills; Swedish citizenship or permanent residence permit required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Swedish.
• Experience with the Swedish motor insurance market.
