What you will do

• Collaborate with product leadership to influence product strategy and roadmap.
• Own delivery of accounting capabilities and features across the investment suite.
• Act as embedded Product Owner within Agile squads, driving sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Work with engineers to design scalable investment accounting workflows and modern user interfaces.
• Write clear epics, user stories, and non-functional requirements.
• Coordinate software releases ensuring timely, high-quality delivery and perform hands-on testing.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role requiring presence at hirify.global office with remote flexibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience as Product Owner, Product Analyst, or Fund Accountant in hedge funds or fund administration.
• Strong understanding of middle and back-office investment operations and US-GAAP accounting principles.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence; SQL is a plus.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
• Knowledge of alternative fund structures and asset types.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems like Advent Geneva, WSO Accounting, Finbourne.
• IFRS knowledge.
