What you will do

• Debug and fix Linux kernel crashes, panics, and performance regressions.
• Develop, test, and upstream kernel patches for hardware and software stack improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware vendors and open-source communities on kernel feature enablement.
• Support kernel stability across virtualization, container runtimes, and HPC/AI workloads.
• Implement kernel-level diagnostics and observability tooling.
• Provide kernel expertise during incident response and root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person or eligible for export-controlled information access per U.S. government regulations.
• 5+ years professional experience in Linux kernel engineering or systems-level development.
• Strong C programming skills and deep understanding of kernel internals and debugging tools.
• Experience with kernel modules, drivers, virtualization, and container runtimes.
• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in one of the specified U.S. office locations.
• English: B2 level or higher required.

Nice to have

• Contributions to Linux kernel or related open-source projects.
• Experience with GPU/DPU bring-up and driver development.
• Familiarity with HPC or large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience in cloud environments and QA/QE best practices.
• Machine learning experience is a strong bonus.
