Salary: $109,000 to $145,000

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain logging, tracing, and metrics platforms.
• Develop and refine monitoring and alerting to improve system reliability.
• Assist engineers in effective usage of observability systems.
• Manage production and pre-production clusters and build supporting tools.

Requirements

• Location: Must be located near or able to work hybrid in Livingston, NJ / New York, NY / Sunnyvale, CA / Bellevue, WA; remote possible if >30 miles from office.
• 2-5 years experience in software engineering, SRE, or DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices.
• Experience with production observability systems and on-call incident management.
• U.S. person status or eligibility to access export controlled information per U.S. Government regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability databases/tools like ClickHouse, Elastic, Loki, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Familiarity with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
• Exposure to modern testing frameworks and progressive deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with data-streaming systems for observability pipelines.
