What you will do

• Design and build financial data pipelines, models, and dashboards from the ground up.
• Develop scalable systems for revenue reporting, forecasting, and decision-making.
• Apply first-principles thinking to modeling and data engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with executive and product leadership to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
• Implement data quality testing, CI/CD, and version control for analytics.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in San Francisco, California, United States
• 7+ years experience in data science or analytics engineering in SaaS or technology companies.
• 3+ years experience with financial data systems using Snowflake, dbt, and BI tools like Sigma, Looker, or Tableau.
• Strong skills in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R for modeling SaaS financial metrics.
• Experience designing automated data pipelines using APIs from Stripe, Chargebee, Salesforce, or similar.
• Proven ability to implement data quality testing, CI/CD, and version control practices.
