Senior Software Engineer (Platform)

Salary: $165,000–$230,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Scale data processing and storage from terabytes to petabytes as the customer base and dataset grow.
• Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with EHR systems, scaling from dozens to hundreds or thousands of integrations.
• Improve core platform systems to support 100x growth in practices, patients, and developers.
• Own cross-functional projects from technical design and decomposition through launch and rollout.
• Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to define, prioritize, and deliver ambitious platform goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on scalable back-end systems and platforms.
• Deep experience with storage systems, cloud-native services, open-source projects, Kubernetes, AWS, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices.
• Strong understanding of quality and security engineering principles.
• Systems-level understanding of distributed systems, component interactions, customer journeys, and data flows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.
