Senior Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Salary: $165,000–$230,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Scale data processing and storage from terabytes to petabytes as the customer base and dataset grow.
• Build and maintain bidirectional, real-time integrations with electronic health record systems.
• Improve core systems to support 100x growth in practices, patients, and developers.
• Own cross-functional projects from technical design and decomposition through launch and rollout.
• Partner with engineering leaders and product managers to define, prioritize, and deliver engineering goals.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on scalable backend systems and platforms.
• Deep experience with storage systems, cloud-native services, Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, and related open-source projects.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, quality engineering, and security engineering principles.
• Strong systems-level thinking across distributed-system components, customer journeys, and data flows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
