TL;DR
Technical Account Manager (GIS/Telecom): Serve as strategic advisor to telecom clients on ’s GIS platform for fiber optic network design, deployment, and management with an accent on technical strategy, customer adoption, and operational efficiency. Focus on driving platform value realization, mitigating risks, collaborating cross-functionally, and identifying revenue growth opportunities.
Location: Portland, ME HQ, hybrid, or fully remote (any location). In hybrid or remote roles, maintain a dedicated productive workspace for video calls.

What you will do
- Act as trusted technical advisor, providing guidance on platform best practices and tailored solutions.
- Understand customer environments and objectives to drive adoption and maximum value.
- Build proactive relationships, resolve issues, and mitigate risks for satisfaction and performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support to align on customer needs and initiatives.
- Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to revenue growth and retention.
- Gather market insights and feedback to influence product roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- Proven success in technical account management or similar in tech/software B2B.
- Hands-on knowledge of scripting, data manipulation, and export/import.
- Strong leadership, communication, and proactive mindset.
- Experience in remote/distributed teams and fast-paced environments.
