Salary: CAD 165,000–200,000 base

What you will do

• Design and build strong, resilient APIs and services powering financial products
• Own features from inception to deployment and customer integration
• Document functionality for UI, third-party developers, and internal tooling
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams and product managers
• Mentor peers through code reviews and best practices education

Requirements

• Must be located onsite in Toronto, Canada
• Experience with server-side languages such as Golang, TypeScript/Node, Java, or Python
• Experience with financial accounting systems and SQL databases
• Strong RESTful API design and testing skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
• Understanding and interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain

Nice to have

• 2+ years backend development experience
• Experience with microservices, distributed applications, containers, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with financial industry systems like digital wallets, clearing, lending, and trading
