What you will do

• Define and execute engineering vision ensuring platform scalability, security, and performance
• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team fostering growth and collaboration
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to develop and launch new features
• Oversee infrastructure, system architecture, and DevOps strategies for reliability and scalability
• Implement and enforce best practices including CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and security protocols
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to maintain eCommerce innovation leadership

Requirements

• Must have full authorization to work in country of residence in Europe or Asia
• 10+ years software engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Proven experience scaling engineering teams in SaaS and eCommerce environments
• Experience with payment processing, checkout systems, or related eCommerce technologies
• Expertise in modern web technologies, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and software architecture
• Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills
