What you will do

• Own end-to-end quality for iOS and Android applications and their supporting backend services.
• Design and implement test strategies covering mobile-to-backend integrations, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Leverage AI for test case generation, regression prioritization, and predictive defect detection.
• Build and scale robust automation frameworks using XCUITest, Espresso, Appium, and Playwright.
• Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins and GitHub Actions to enable pre-merge validation.
• Design and execute performance validation for app responsiveness, API latency, and backend load.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in web and mobile testing with a strong emphasis on test automation.
• Proven expertise in XCUITest (iOS), Espresso (Android), and Playwright.
• Strong understanding of testing across microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with generative AI applications in quality engineering (e.g., log intelligence, API contract validation).
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Mountain View, US.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting mobile app store release processes (App Store/Play Store) and phased rollouts.
• Familiarity with crash reporting tools, release health dashboards, and rollback strategies.
