AWS Business Development Executive (AWS): Managing the sales lifecycle for AWS solutions and services, and developing technical knowledge around AWS offerings with an accent on analyzing business requirements, creating technical solution proposals, and assisting partnership functions. Focus on identifying and creating thorough technical solution proposals based on client needs and driving solution marketing activities.

Location: Tokyo, Japan. Full-time Work Rights in Japan required.

What you will do

  • Manage the AWS solutions & services sales lifecycle.
  • Analyze and gather business requirements to create technical solution proposals.
  • Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and contracts for solutions and services sales.
  • Work with pre-sales technical teams to improve sales engineering effectiveness.
  • Assist and support partnership/alliance functions with assigned vendor partner relationships.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive solution marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Full-time Work Rights in Japan.
  • Full professional proficiency in Japanese and professional proficiency in English.
  • Proven relevant sales experience, including selling AWS products and services in Japan.
  • Ability to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel.
  • High level of knowledge of internal organization working and Information Technology trends.
  • Understanding of AWS principles, architecture and management.
  • Understanding around migration planning & execution including migration to Azure, re-platforming of on-premises solutions to cloud-native.
  • Experience in building value proposition around implementing Hybrid Cloud solution projects.
