What you will do

• Provide operational support and engineering for OLTP, OLAP, data warehousing, and distributed NoSQL database platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business teams across time zones to deliver high-quality service.
• Develop automation tools for database operations, monitoring, and maintenance to improve scalability and efficiency.
• Manage database configuration, capacity, security, disaster recovery, and audit processes.
• Handle operational incidents, root-cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors and support teams.
• Participate in major upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning projects.

Requirements

• Location: Must work onsite in Gurgaon, India with hybrid model requiring 4 days in office weekly.
• B.E./B.Tech/MCA or relevant engineering degree with 4+ years experience in data administration or similar roles.
• Experience with database platforms including SAP Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server, NoSQL, Cosmos DB, Snowflake, Greenplum.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in programming languages Python, Perl, Java, Go and automation/configuration tools.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work shift hours including weekends.
