Field Service Engineer

Location: Remote within the Midwest region of the United States, including Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis areas

What you will do

• Provide exceptional customer care and technical support for Bio Analytics instruments.
• Perform field service, calibration, installation, and preventative maintenance of complex mechanical systems.
• Assist with IT issues related to system installations and perform software updates/upgrades.
• Travel extensively (up to 90% overnight) across the Midwest and additional North American regions.
• Train customers on equipment use and maintain accurate service and parts documentation.
• Collaborate with sales by passing along identified leads and attend training/conferences as needed.

Requirements

• Must reside in or near Chicago, Indianapolis, or St. Louis.
• Associate's degree in engineering or equivalent military training with 5+ years field service experience.
• 3+ years experience in Bio-Pharmaceutical field service.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and IT troubleshooting skills.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to lift up to 35 Kg.
• Proficiency with MS Office software.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, biomechanical, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with mobile tools and applications.
• Excellent driving record.
