What you will do

• Define and lead the technical roadmap for a scalable data processing and insight platform.
• Manage implementation and maintenance of APIs focusing on scaling, automation, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate business needs into technical plans and deliverables.
• Oversee full project lifecycle ensuring high-quality feature delivery and alignment across distributed teams.
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing data analytics engineering team fostering a culture of learning and safety.
• Drive best practices in software development lifecycle, observability, and documentation.

Requirements

• Location: Remote with presence in India
• English: B2 level or higher
• 8+ years in software engineering with expertise in distributed systems, big data, and data streaming technologies.
• Proficiency in Java and Python; 4+ years experience with AWS or major cloud providers.
• 4+ years leading and developing engineering teams with strong product and architectural vision.
• Experience handling complex, high-volume data environments and ambiguous business requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience in fast-paced SaaS or startup environments.
• Familiarity with e-commerce search, recommendation engines, or web analytics.
