What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of backend-oriented developers for a large-scale, distributed cloud system.
• Define and implement various business models and offerings in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Design and implement backend services for building, monitoring, and maintaining cloud services.
• Actively participate in coding activities and code reviews.
• Set high standards for design, coding, and tooling.
• Drive the adoption of AI tools to accelerate service development.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in developing backend applications.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a proven track record.
• Expertise in backend languages like Python, Java, Go.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), API design, and best practices for scalable, distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience running complex SaaS offerings with deep awareness of production environments.
