Location: Hybrid (8 days/month) in the **USA** in **Glastonbury, CT**, **New York City, NY**, or **Princeton, NJ**. Applicants **may be required to appear onsite** for recruitment processes.
Salary: $166,900.00 – $298,300.00 USD

What you will do
- Provide strategic leadership for product software engineering and drive architecture evolution.
- Give tactical guidance to architects and development teams to maintain architectural integrity.
- Lead the department's work, ensuring efficient resource use and on-time delivery of outcomes.
- Develop and build high-performing teams, providing coaching and mentorship.
- Investigate and propose next-generation technologies to solve current and future technical challenges.
- Manage the backlog of technical debt and ensure compliance with global information security policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- **Minimum of 15+ years of experience** as an architect in designing software products in the SaaS space.
- **Minimum of 10+ years** working within product software engineering at a leadership level, leading architects and teams.
- Proven experience in designing **Distributed Systems** with emphasis on scalability, reliability, security, and micro-services architectures.
- Expertise in architectural patterns, application security, APIs, frameworks, modern DevSecOps, and GitOps practices.
- Strong problem solving, people management, and financial budget management skills.
