Senior Interaction Designer (UK Public Sector)

What you will do

• Deliver digital products and services for major UK companies and public sector organisations.
• Support end-to-end design from initial concepts through delivery.
• Create personas, service maps, wireframes, prototypes, and other design artefacts.
• Lead design workshops and design sprints with users, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with user researchers and developers to create solutions based on user needs.
• Train and mentor other designers.

Requirements

• Experience delivering services in the UK public sector is essential, including use of the GOV.UK design system, GDS standards, and Service Standard Assessments.
• Strong experience in user-centred design from concept to delivery.
• Experience with rapid paper and digital prototyping.
• Understanding of security, accessibility, version control, and hosting.
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams on large and complex transformation projects.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, and Figma.
• Ability to create dynamic prototypes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience in consulting roles.
